He showed us a few different shingle companies with his recommendations. The quote was clearly explained with possible options to add on. The whole process was informative, rather than pressured. Alyssa kept us up-to-date with the planned date for removal and with an unexpected weather delay. When the job was finished, I went on the roof to inspect and found the attention to detail was exemplary. They had installed the ridge vents very well with no gaps. Edges were trimmed straight. "In mid September, I contacted Clay Cook of Apsley Roofing regarding installation of a roof on my small 24 x 32 new house in Glen Alda. Because it was late in the season, he told me his schedule was full, but would not leave me without a roof for the winter.  With the help of Alyssa and Clay they managed to work my job into their already busy work load.  Within an elapsed time of about two days, Clay and his crew installed the sheathing, applied the required membranes, shingles and venting, providing me with a closed in house for the winter.  The jobsite was also cleaned up.  I would not hesitate to recommend Clay or hire him for future work."
